Lions International district 404A3 , a reputable NGO partners with Oba of Oworonshoki, HRM Babatunde Saliu (Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom ) to bring free medical check up to two hundred residents of Oworonshoki Community.

The District Governor Lioness (Dr) Folashade Shotomide said they are here in the community to meet the needs of the people, to create awareness for lions club, for people to know who they are, to get new members, and to look for new ground for people to help humanity.


Oba of Oworonshoki was ably represented by Queen Oluwabukola Maryam Saliu. She expressed her gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries to the NGO for bringing Such humanitarian Services to Oworonshoki Community. She also distributed food palliatives Like Rice ,garri ,sachet of sugar and tomato paste to all participants.


The residents also appreciate Oba of Oworonshoki (HRM Babatunde Saliu and Queen Oluwabukola Saliu) for his kind gesture to the people of Oworonshoki Community.

APC, PDP, YPP BATTLES FOR COUNCILORSHIP POSITIONS IN IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA

As released by the election umpire in Lagos State, the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC, only three (3) political parties will vie for the Councilorship positions in the July 24th Local Government elections in Ikosi-isheri LCDA. The three political parties that will contest for the Councilorship positions are All Progressives Congress (APC), People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP).  However, only PDP and APC will contest for the Local Government Chairmanship position in Ikosi-isheri LCDA. The election, which will take place across all the seven wards in Ikosi-isheri LCDA will hold on Saturday July 24th, 2021 between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

  In a significant development within the political landscape of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, the incumbent Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, popularly called MAYORESS, has garnered widespread support for a second term. This endorsement comes from various key stakeholders, including the legislators, executives, party executives, and the vibrant youth population.
