Lions International district 404A3 , a reputable NGO partners with Oba of Oworonshoki, HRM Babatunde Saliu (Oloworo of Oworonshoki Kingdom ) to bring free medical check up to two hundred residents of Oworonshoki Community.

The District Governor Lioness (Dr) Folashade Shotomide said they are here in the community to meet the needs of the people, to create awareness for lions club, for people to know who they are, to get new members, and to look for new ground for people to help humanity.


Oba of Oworonshoki was ably represented by Queen Oluwabukola Maryam Saliu. She expressed her gratitude on behalf of the beneficiaries to the NGO for bringing Such humanitarian Services to Oworonshoki Community. She also distributed food palliatives Like Rice ,garri ,sachet of sugar and tomato paste to all participants.


The residents also appreciate Oba of Oworonshoki (HRM Babatunde Saliu and Queen Oluwabukola Saliu) for his kind gesture to the people of Oworonshoki Community.

Ikosi-isheri residents defy rain to witness unveiling of Princess Samiat Bada and other APC Candidates in the LCDA

  Amidst the heavy rain on Thursday July 8th, 2021, residents ranging from APC party faithfuls, market men and women, artisans, NURTW, Community youths, CAN, League of Imams, LASCOTA, NULGE, Arewa, Ndigbo and South-South members of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, witnessed the APC Ikosi-isheri Campaign Flag-off, in large numbers. The flag-off ceremony which has the rank and file of Ikosi-isheri APC leaders in attendance, took place at CMD road by Shangisha/Magodo junction. In her speech, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-isheri LCDA who is also the flag-bearer of APC in the Local Council Development Area, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, urged all faithfuls of the party to bury all grudges or issues they may have had and harmonize to ensure victory for the party at the polls on July 24th and beyond. IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA SET TO HOLD ANOTHER EDITION OF CULTURAL CARNIVAL

On Monday, in an exciting press briefing, the Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, officially announced the upcoming Ikosi-Isheri-Ketu-Magodo Cultural Carnival. The highly anticipated event, themed “Our Heritage, Our Pride: A Celebration of Culture and Unity", is scheduled to take place on October 26 and 27, 2024.
