Council Chairman and Assembly Member empathize with residents of flood-affected communities

  The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-isheri Local Council Development Area, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, and the Lagos Assembly Member representing Kosofe Constituency II, Hon. Femi Saheed, commiserate with the inhabitants of Agiliti Phase II, Idera/Ajegunle and Isheri North communities, which were affected by flood occasioned by the release of Oyan river dam.  During their visit to the respective communities at early morning of wednesday, Mayoress Bola Bada empathized with the residents and assured them of interventions by the government.  She urged people to dissuade from building along drainages and river bodies while admonishing them to be cautious and prevent mishaps during the flood period.  "I commend the patience and cooperation with the government portrayed by you all. Flooding: Council boss ride bike to sympathize with affected communities

As riverine areas of Lagos and Ogun States are currently facing the challenges of flooding, inhabitants of the affected communities keep high their hopes of government interventions.  The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-isheri Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, popularly called MAYORESS, to the admiration of the residents of Isheri North GRA, River Bank Estate, and Ajegunle communities, assessed the flood situation on a bike, and walked through it to sympathize with the affected residents, on Monday. National Day of Older Persons: Ikosi-isheri LCDA Chairman celebrates senior citizens in grand style

  The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, popularly called MAYORESS, celebrates senior citizens in grand style to commemorate National Day of Older Persons, Y2023 edition.  Older Persons in Ikosi-isheri LCDA were beaming with joy and full of life as they mark their National Day at Senator Adebayo Osinowo hall of Ikosi-isheri LCDA Secretariat, on Tuesday.  The Chief host of the occasion, Mayoress, expressed admiration as she welcomed the senior citizens to the occasion. "The International Day of Older Persons is celebrated globally on the 1st of October but it coincides with Nigeria's Independence Day and the awareness created is usually swallowed by the Independence Day celebrations, hence the reasons why we are celebrating our senior citizens today", she said.  She said further in her remarks: "I want us to note that getting old is by God's grace, however, with caring and loving beautiful people aroun
