Lagos Business School Don, Prof. Olayinka David-West Visits SAIL Innovation Lab, Lauds Remarkable Impacts On Youths

 


A renowned Professor of Information Systems, Professor (Mrs) Olayinka David-West on Wednesday visited the iconic SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu, founded by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, FCA and his wife, Feyisola as part of their endowment.

Prof. David-West, the Associate Dean at the Lagos Business School (LBS), who is a passionate advocate of digital transformation, which the SAIL Innovation Lab is promoting , commended the promoters of the Innovation Lab for the vision in galvanising the youths of Lagos East for the endless possibilities and opportunities that the digital and tech space presents.

Speaking with hundreds of participants at the Innovation Lab, Mrs. David-West shared the story of her career journey spanning over three decades in the IT and financial services industry, urging the beneficiaries to maximise the opportunity that SAIL Innovation Lab has provided to them free of charge.

The Vice-Chencellor of the Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH), Prof. Olumuyiwa Odusanya and the Pro-Chancellor, Lagos State University, LASU, Sir. David Sumoni, alongside notable leaders in Ikorodu division - His Excellency, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Member, Governance Advisory Council, GAC, Asiwaju Reuben Olorunfunmi Basorun, Former Minister of Works, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe and Architect Taiwo Kara, Mr. Deji Abisola, (Chief Impact Consultant, SAIL) Dr. Saheed Ibikunle, were present to tour the SAIL Innovation, alongside Senator Abiru and Prof. David-West.

The flag-off ceremony which has the rank and file of Ikosi-isheri APC leaders in attendance, took place at CMD road by Shangisha/Magodo junction. TOTAL NUCLEUS FOUNDATION (TNF) LAUNCHES 2ND EDITION OF FREE COMPUTER TRAINING

Total Nucleus Foundation (TNF) has inaugurated the second edition of its free computer training program. During the Inauguration on Saturday, The Project Coordinator, Educator Tijani Musa Oluwatosin, highlighted the motive behind unveiling the second edition of the program. He said: "he decision to initiate this new edition stemmed from the positive feedback received after the first edition, with numerous requests for further sessions to accommodate more beneficiaries".
