  In a bid to foster unity and spiritual reflection within the Local Council Development Area during the holy month of Ramadan, the esteemed Mayoress of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, graciously hosted a Ramadan Tafsir session. The event, held at Senator Adebayo Osinowo hall, at the council secretariat, brought together a diverse gathering of residents, political and community leaders. The Ramadan Tafsir, a traditional Islamic practice involving the interpretation and explanation of the Quran, served as a platform for attendees to deepen their understanding of the sacred text and its relevance to contemporary life.   Sequel to the inauguration made on Sunday 10th March, 2024 at the State Management Meeting of National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) held at Agboyi Ketu LCDA, four persons were inaugurated as members of the Electoral Committee.  The four committee members that was inaugurated by the state Legal Adviser, Comrade Akinyemi Rafiat Omolola Esq. are: Comrade Saliu Adekunle represented Lagos East, Comrade Onifade Sodiq for Lagos Central and Comrade Kuku Mutiu for the Lagos West Senator District, while Mr. Olukosi Julius was the representative from the Ministry of Youth and Social Development.  The committee is saddled with the responsibility to organize the election of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter as their tenure in office is winding up.  Merriment and praises fill the atmosphere as the Mayoress of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, handed over 6 car keys to beneficiaries at the council secretariat, on Monday. The Ikosi-isheri League of Imams, CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria), Iyaloja of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, CDC (Community Development Committee), Revenue Chairman, and Ikosi-isheri Media Team, were elated as they got their respective keys from the Mayoress. In her remarks, the Mayoress described the gesture as one of the ways of appreciating community stakeholders and her staff. This endorsement comes from various key stakeholders, including the legislators, executives, party executives, and the vibrant youth population. On Monday, the seven members of the local legislative body under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Yinusa Salami, thrown their weight behind the chairman's bid for a second term. A motion for  endorsement was moved by the Majority Leader and Councilor representing Ward E, Hon. Gbadegoke Adekoya; this was seconded by the Ward A Councilor, Hon. Folashade Akinpelu, and it was unanimously adopted by the legislators.
