MAYORESS HOSTS Y2024 RAMADAN TAFSIR

 


In a bid to foster unity and spiritual reflection within the Local Council Development Area during the holy month of Ramadan, the esteemed Mayoress of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, graciously hosted a Ramadan Tafsir session. The event, held at Senator Adebayo Osinowo hall, at the council secretariat, brought together a diverse gathering of residents, political and community leaders.


The Ramadan Tafsir, a traditional Islamic practice involving the interpretation and explanation of the Quran, served as a platform for attendees to deepen their understanding of the sacred text and its relevance to contemporary life. The annual Tafsir program was anchored by the League of Imams and Alfas in Ikosi-isheri LCDA. 










Princess Samiat Bada (MAYORESS), known for her commitment to promoting religious harmony and cultural diversity, welcomed guests with warm hospitality, emphasizing the importance of unity and mutual respect among people of different backgrounds. 


The Tafsir session, led by Imam Ismail Kajola, elucidated key teachings from the Quran, emphasizing themes of compassion, social justice, and spiritual growth. The program also featured a prayer session in which the holy Quran was read in entirety. 


The atmosphere was imbued with a sense of reverence and communal spirit, as people from various walks of life came together to seek knowledge and spiritual enrichment.

IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA: Community Stakeholders and appointees gets six cars

 Merriment and praises fill the atmosphere as the Mayoress of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, handed over 6 car keys to beneficiaries at the council secretariat, on Monday. The Ikosi-isheri League of Imams, CAN (Christian Association of Nigeria), Iyaloja of Ikosi-isheri LCDA, CDC (Community Development Committee), Revenue Chairman, and Ikosi-isheri Media Team, were elated as they got their respective keys from the Mayoress. In her remarks, the Mayoress described the gesture as one of the ways of appreciating community stakeholders and her staff.   In a significant development within the political landscape of Ikosi Isheri Local Council Development Area, the incumbent Executive Chairman, Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada, popularly called MAYORESS, has garnered widespread support for a second term. This endorsement comes from various key stakeholders, including the legislators, executives, party executives, and the vibrant youth population.
