Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru’s Ramadan Lecture Series Holds at Agboyi-Ketu LCDA

The Ramadan Lecture Series sponsored by Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru continued at Agboyi-Ketu LCDA with a spiritually enriching gathering centered on the theme: “Who is a True Believer?” The well-attended event brought together Islamic scholars, political stakeholders, and respected community leaders in a collective reflection on faith, character, and responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan.

The Guest Lecturer delivered an extensive and thought-provoking sermon, carefully explaining the qualities that define a true believer in Islam. According to him, true belief goes beyond mere verbal affirmation; it is deeply rooted in unwavering faith in the existence and supremacy of Almighty God. He emphasized that a true believer is one who not only professes faith but also lives by it—obedient to Allah’s commandments and guided consistently by the fear of God in all actions and interactions.

A special prayer session was observed during the program for the peace, unity, and prosperity of Nigeria. Prayers were also offered for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking for divine wisdom and strength in leadership. Additionally, heartfelt prayers were said for Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru, seeking continued grace, guidance, and success in his service to the people.

The event recorded the presence of prominent Islamic leaders, political office holders, and community stakeholders, further demonstrating the unifying impact of the Ramadan Lecture Series across various segments of society.

As the series progresses across communities, it continues to serve as a platform for spiritual growth, moral reflection, and communal harmony—reinforcing the timeless values that define true belief and responsible citizenship.
