11 Things You Should Know About Late Prophet TB Joshua


The death of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua was on Sunday announced on his church website.


As his church members all over the world mourn, below are 10 things you should know about the late prophet:


1. He was born on June 12, 1963.


2. He died at the age of 57.


3. His last words were: "Watch and Pray" 


4. According to his church website, the prophet spent 15 months in his mother’s womb before he was born.


5. TB Joshua as he is popularly called founded Synagogue Church of All Nations in 1987.


6. He is well known for performing miracles, which attract expatriates from all over the world to Nigeria. His miracles were also a source of controversy.


7. The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria refused to identify with SCOAN over some practices.


8. In 2009, TB Joshua established a football club. Two members of his team, Sani Emmanuel, Ogenyi Onazi went on to play for Nigeria.


9. His last pastoral work according to his church was at the ‘Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting’ on Saturday.


10. He is also the founder of Emmanuel TV, which broadcasts the activities of his church.


11. In April 2021, YouTube suspended Emmanuel TV over Hate Speech, after a deliverance session where the prophet was delivering  someone from ‘gay spirit.’

APC, PDP, YPP BATTLES FOR COUNCILORSHIP POSITIONS IN IKOSI-ISHERI LCDA

As released by the election umpire in Lagos State, the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission, LASIEC, only three (3) political parties will vie for the Councilorship positions in the July 24th Local Government elections in Ikosi-isheri LCDA. The three political parties that will contest for the Councilorship positions are All Progressives Congress (APC), People's Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP).  However, only PDP and APC will contest for the Local Government Chairmanship position in Ikosi-isheri LCDA. The election, which will take place across all the seven wards in Ikosi-isheri LCDA will hold on Saturday July 24th, 2021 between the hours of 8am and 3pm.
