DELIBERATE ABSENCE AT PEPPERITO'S 1YR REMEMBRANCE PRAYER IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LATE SENATOR'S WILL

By Osuolale Olalekan

Tuesday 15th of July, 2021 made it exactly one year that the Late philanthropist and politician, Senator Zikirulahi Adebayo Osinowo left this sinful world.

His death was really a shock that created a vacuum which is yet to be filled in the political sphere of Greater Kosofe and Lagos East Senatorial District. His party, All Progressives Congress is sorely still missing him.

That some followers of the Late Senator organized a One-year Remembrance Prayer for the deceased is not a crime or a bad thing to do but to hear some elements castigating some ardent disciples of PEPPERITO for being absent at the program is uncalled for!

Moreover, it was learnt that the Late Senator Bayo Osinowo stated categorically before his death that NOBODY SHOULD SIT ANYWHERE, ANYDAY OR ANYTIME doing a Rememberance prayer for him or doing a program in his name. No wonder members of the deceased family were not in attendance at the said Remembrance Prayer.

Hence, portraying those that are absent at the Prayer in bad image is nothing but slander and defamation of character. True lovers and followers of the Late Senator would rather respect and not go against his wish and will.

May Almighty Allah repose the soul of Late Senator Adebayo Osinowo and grant him among the inmates of Aljannah Firdaus.
